Mandalore

>the game looks gorgeous

>"it's a good game, it's just not a good [franchise] game"

why do they do this?

>game "analysis"
>it's just 700 minutes of an edited lets play with no analysis

but sound is a more interesting topic than having a plot synopsis read to me

>game “review”
>has ad read in middle of video
>is a stupid unfunny skit
>last longer than 15 seconds.

>"I know when this game came out it was a buggy featureless dumpster fire but it's flawless now the devs really listened and added so much content"
>wanks the developer for 30 minutes showing stills from the game that are perfect shots you will never see

Cyberpunk

movie "reviewers" are to blame for this trend by having 30 minute reviews where they just list off a bunch of plot holes or inconsistencies

the latest God of War is not a good GoW game

>1% - insightful, well-thought out and well-argued reviews
>69% - not reviews at all, just summaries of the plot or information about the game's development
>30% - random unspecific general statements, how this relates to the game is a mystery to science

The absolute state of kiketube reviews. Vapid 95 IQ bugmen who love the sound of their own voice.

I refuse to watch any game related videos that are longer than 15 minutes. I always cringe at those hour and a half "video essays" lmfao

No Man's Sky seems to be the posterboy for this kind of talk.

Unironically better than most reviews. Idc about your shitty opinions, you should come through as little as possible.

>don't get me wrong, I LOVE [game name], but...

I need more super long reviews

>game review
>2 minutes story summary
>5 minutes game mechanic
>15 minutes funny experience in game
i kneel

Based as fuck.

What is the point? If you want white noise, just get a podcast. At least those are about something, and if you pay attention you learn a fun fact.
