Now that the dust has settled, what are your thoughts on this game?

Still havent played it. Soubds luke a miserable experience all around. Not in he sense of being a bad game, but in a game that will just leave me depressed instead of being fun to play.

A group of talented developers made a good game that didn't resonate with me like the first one did.

I'd rather be playing The Last of Us Part Two over most other "AAA" games.

Retarded story, insufferable characters, acceptable gameplay, amazing graphics.

Is this thing really considered a flop selling 6 million? What was its production/marketing budget?

My thoughts?
1. Revenge plot is stupid since just by having people travel from A to B you have them create more revenge plot shit that is happening behind the scenes. I would not be surprised if they get a character like Nora survived (or another character noone gives a crap about) and made her go on a revenge spree or soul searching crap next game.
2. The game was incredibly blatant with putting 'the message of woke' down your throat whilst hammering, pun intended, that trans good, Ellie bad cus she kills dogs. Abby good she plays with dogs. Nobody even should care about such things in the post apocalypse. They should be more trying their best not to get bitten or raped.
3. How the fuck did that cult even came to be anyway? Aparenly some 13 years is all it takes to go from a modern society all the way to technology hating cult that somehow has people old enough to remember pornhub?
4. AI is as dumb as a bag of bricks because evidently it was more important to demotivate the player by have them acting upon eachother. "HAH, I just killed someone named Dave and BBQ'd his dog with a molotov" and now his lady is just standing there in the open trying to look for me in a spot I never was in the first place.
The bottles&bricks mechanic is no longer needed in this game because the AI has done nothing but huff paint since the last game.
5. I am sorry but that ending with all the bruises and cuts and the salt water? It is like none of the developers even ever have been in a fistfight or even went to the beach with a small cut on their leg. Then it ends the way it did? I feel like I wasted a LOT of my time. Which I probably would not feel if the ending was anywhere half as ambiguous as the end of the first game. Now the only reason I remember is because I hate it. That is not going to do the franchise any good.
... Also they deliberately lied on the promotional material, then they killed joel, and then they assassinated his character post mortem ...
