Depends on the generation.
It has been getting steadily easier.
But, it has also been because things have been getting more fluid.
In the original few generations, both monster and player animations were pretty slow and telegraphed.
Now, by Rise, things are pretty fast and fluid. Still some things that get telegraphed, but most stuff has shorter ones.
