Yeah, you can load premade scenes then replace the characters in them with your own

It's a Unity engine of character and scene posing. You can set up character animations to make scenes or just take control of a model in first person or whatever.
Scene lighting, reflections. All works great, but it's good looking scenes at the expense of being ridiculously fucking unoptimized. Very easy to quickly bog down even a several thousand dollar PC with just a few too many actors

Depends on what you're doing. A single character would be fine but when you start adding multiple characters with hair and clothing physics, it really starts to run poorly.

You get used to it as you continue messing around with it. The UI is a nightmare and figuring out what you're trying to do is a chore. However, once it clicks, you probably won't go back to anything else.
