anyways, linux is nice.
everything has gotten really good with the steam deck helping out.
but annon, your shit is fucked up
I mean discord, KDE, 1700 pkgs, snap, fatpak, and an old(ish) kernel.

It's a fresh KDE Neon. It's not fucked what the flying FUCK are you talking about?

bloated as shit and an old kernel.
I mean, I install a lot of unneeded bullshit, but even then it's pretty light.
KDE is really bad at keeping it's size.

>linux user
>pedo

Honeslty, with Wesker announced, ive been thinking of going back to Windows,

Im just a big fan of Resident Evil and DBD still has not enabled EAC support.

Might even try dualbooting but what a PITA..

I love Reimu
I don't like Linux

why would I?

>bloat
Meaningless meme term.
>I mean, I install a lot of unneeded bullshit, but even then it's pretty light.
Not if you have sub 1000 packages. The only time such a thing matters is when you're working on embedded computers with limited resources. Putting time and effort into avoiding packages has no real world performance on desktop computers.
KDE is the only reason to bother using Linux. It's the second best UX you can get after MacOS. In before tiling wms
>dwm
lmao called it

Dunno how.

>Not if you have sub 1000 packages.
having sub 1000 packages is impossible in modern age, unless you only use your computer to browse the internet..

Let me give you a little context, I usually work with shit computers, so keeping everything light is nice. gentoo lets me speed everything up because this computer is fast enough to compile itself.
It gives me a nice end result for when I remove games and shit my computer remains small, as I want it.
oh, and it makes updates lighter, and using lighter apps helps using less memory and letting the cpu relax.
oh dwm is a complete meme, don't use it.
I mean I use it because i've already sinked in the time to make it usable, and still it lacks, but it's a good thing to learn about.
I use mine for games, development, (((research))), 3d shitems, and bunch of other shit, it's relatively easy to keey it under 1K.

Please stop fucking up

switched to linux a couple of times around 2007 - 2009? Didn't really like how it was laid out and I don't want to learn a new OS anyway.

The neofetch here says 873.
My Gentoo install on my ThinkPad has 1013.

No VRR multimonitor support in X is literally the only reason. Steam deck proved to me that linux is more than capable of replacing windows for gaming, but I need my monitors and I need my high refresh.

I did like 4 months ago. working on Phoenix Point and Dusk currently.

Totally not share animated child porn with you on a matrix server that we probably both inhabit.

Is there a single non-garbage add-on for Cinnamon besides the transparent taskbar?

On the topic of video games, I keep going back to Blood. It's just too good. And when I've got a mouse and keyboard, I just want to play shooters, because I guess I'm a stupid pleb, and I just never feel like plugging a controller into my desktop computer. Having a Steam Deck should help me get through at least the non-shooter portion of my backlog. I've installed a bunch of Linux-native platformers and a few adventure games. I'll probably try to finish Grim Fandango Remastered on it. I don't think I ever beat the original back when my family had a copy of it.

I barely play anything on my PC so there's not much use. I was thinking of getting an M1 Mini since it's better for the stuff I use for work.
Can I just use Steam Link in case I want to play anything on it? Gonna keep my current PC as a server or something.
