there's a big difference between understanding caravan and enjoying it

Even Sawyer himself admits it sucks

It's no gwent

Well, he's wrong

I aleays win before I think I should. Same for losing.

what do you mean? i listened to veronica's backstory. how did obsidian have such masterful writing? just so good !

The only in game card game i ever liked was triple triad.

I don't care about making caps via Caravan so I just do normal gambling, sell items people drop and quests. The only time I ever tried to learn something card related was pazaak.

>becomes completely trivial when you realize you just need a deck with as many 10s, 9s, and 7s as possible. Plus Kings to fuck with your opponent

I never play these dumb minigames, except the ones in final fantasy games

>except the ones in final fantasy games
fuck you if you like the fort condor minigame in 7

that's my favorite one lol

That and if you max out Luck the game deals you the best cards early on and forces the AI to make shitty plays. Having Luck be an actual stat really fucks over the gambling in this game.

seethe more, poojeet
Nobody discusses 3

>opponent plays 3 jacks in a row on your starting cards
No thanks

I love minigames in vidya more than the actual games

>get luck implant
>wear naughty nightwear and lucky shades
>proceed to clear out every casino on the strip without losing a single hand of blackjack

>clearing out every casino in the game only gets you enough caps to buy 3-4 GRA weapons
I know they wanted to have a moneysink in the endgame for all the caps you can get but it's pretty ridiculous that they cost 50X more than other guns.

That's why you skullfuck Elijah and take those gold bars from the Sierra Madre to sell to the Vendortron

What's the point in even having strong weapons at the end of an RPG? All the exploration is done and the enemies you'd want to kill are already dead.

Hoover damn battle, Deathclaw promontory, Sloan quarry, etc.
Yes you can technically clear them at lv1 with a switchblade if you're autistic enough but it's your own fault if you put yourself through that.
The alternative is just having everything scale with your level like in F4/shitrim but that just makes character growth feel unimportant.
