He was my 1st too. Always bought white after that.

I think my dad got me a red bohrok and the blue toa back in the day. From then on I always bought the red and blue figures in each set plus a few extras

The Toa Nuva were such a downgrade its not even funny. That plus rereleasing the Bohrok with slightly different colors was pretty lame.
Not like I cared when I was a kid though

I never kept up with bionicles after the nuva just because I was like 11 and moved on to other toylines but what really appealed to me was this tribal island world full of robots. that concept alone was sick as fuck. I always said as a kid my favorite was Lewa just because green was my favorite color but I think even then I knew in the back of my head Pohatu was actually the best with his cool kicking ability.
