Why not Cap? What the fuck else are you using Caps Lock for?

i use a foot pedal

fpbp

why my big peanus weanus of course

N, to remind me of what I'm going to say

Typing

IGGER

What do you guys usually use these buttons for in video games?

mouse side button bound to scroll lock

Dodge or crouching

`

dodge, quick melee, grenades
it depends

I have an autistic habit where I constantly play with and press these two buttons so they can't be used for something significant like using a consumable or tossing a grenade or whatever. I usually use both for the same purpose of simply activating my flashlight

Macro to say gay

Flashlight/weapon mode toggles

always melee when it's a button press

I use the bottom one for melee in FPS games
I leave the upper one unbound since it throws my aim off to adjust my thumb and press it mid-movement

Quick melee
Quick grenade
Alt fire if M2 is already aim
Change fire mode

Depends on how the gameplay flows and what I need of the time.

Melee attack in FPS. In third person games its usually for the charge or distance closing ability

Left alt
Or if left alt is actually needed as a modifier key z

Changing voice channels

This is the most comfortable, but it's a problem when you check the scoreboard with tab while talking.

M3 melee, M4 ptt

melee and grenade

also you need at least 3 of these for chivalry and mordhau

map and tag

I have 3 side buttons, one is bound to scroll lock for PTT since that virtually never conflicts with anything unless you're using Excel.
The other two are bound to Home and End and typically used semi-frequent actions like fire select or changing ammo types. Home and End on side buttons are also excellent for web browsing, especially on Any Forums.

heh... no cap....

Almost everything
