I was still on the PS1 when it was released, so when got myself a Playstation 2, Tekken 5 had already been launched. So, why would a kid play Tekken 4, when 5, a much superior game, was also available?
It's like asking me if I played a lot of Tekken 1 and 2. Why would I do that as a kid, when Tekken 3, a game prettier and more entertaining, was there already?

4 was a really rushed game. In the files you can find remnants of a fuckton of cut characters including Anna and Jinpachi.
I didn't like it much at release, but I've come to adore it's aesthetic and story. I REALLY miss Tekken trying to mix it up. Now, each game just feels like a remix of Tekken 6 which was my least favorite installment.
I want a new Tekken to really wow me with a unified aesthetic, new looks to the characters that aren't just all over the place, and to have music that isn't the awful wubshit of the recent games. The characters models have looked fucking awful since 6 as well. Their proportions look so stupid. I prefer the look of everyone in 5 and 4.
