So what are you guys planning to do when the new generation drops? I don't know if I want to bother trying to pick one up immediately, with the crypto crash I won't be able to sell my current 30 series for as much as I would have liked. Since I have a 30 series and I'm not really in a rush, I might also just hold off for the 4090TI.

Apparently at their cheapest the 3090TI could be found for $1145.
I don't know about you but I'm willing to pay that for over 50% more performance. Might sound like overkill but not when you're chasing 144fps at 1440p, and eventually opening the door to 144hz 4k later.

I still can't afford it so nothing. Plus my 1060 6gb still plays everything I want well enough.

What would you need one for? To play new games? Those suck.

performance for what? I don't play VRshit. A console can do '4K' (not true 4K but whatever) at 1/3rd the price and gamepass is a good deal.

I use the SeX for bloatware I don't want on my PC like MS flight sim and Forza and it is impressive how well it runs

with how the consoles like the SeX work inherently they can output really impressive "4K" at 60fps despite having 50% less power on paper
