>cult classic game, little known >massive hype by influencers about cult classic >"yeah I was a huge fan" (never played) >Stalker 2 begins making media headlines
They're not making a game that's fun to play, a world to get lost in... they're cashing in. CyberPunk 2.0..
There is also a high chance that a decent chunk of the creative talent will just die in the war. Although it would make for a damn good excuse if the final product is found to be lacking.
Lucas Murphy
stalker stopped being a cult classic game since long ago hell, i had some 15-16 year olds talk about the stalker games in the school i teach at
Jack Nelson
>Hate to break it to you but it's going to suck we know but modders will fix it
Ryder Myers
>little known Obvious zoomer.
Charles Parker
I can tell it's going to be shit by 3 things >unreal engine >console focused >still no gameplay shown
Unreal engine and no actual gameplay yet are non-issues at this point. The game being on console is a bullet to the brain, however. It was doomed from the start.
>game comes out >endless back and forth of people pointing out the game is shit and others responding with "um sweetie there was a WAR you ungrateful piece of shit!!"
Thomas Jones
just play Chernobylite for now and hope that pic related isn't a Patreon scam
>console focused Yes, that tells you they're trying to cash in on the widest market. All it takes is for console players to buy it once and their strategy wins because they've already built the hype around it (much of which was spread by PC players). They've got stalker consumers in a vice and no reason to deliver on anything. No gameplay footage being shown is the other major clue.
Thomas Ross
They are trying to cash in on the war and cult status. Just shut up and make the fucking game don't moan and bitch all the time.
Anthony Morgan
What makes people say it's console focused? Cause the first game play shown had a crosshair and the guy clearly used a controller? That's it?

Interesting how russians have almost no notion of empathy about their nation's actions destroying countless livelihoods of regular people in neighbouring countries. They always blame americans for being rotten soulless bugmen, but seems like they themselves fit the description way better.
Wyatt Moore
>He actually believed that modern ukraine could make something. Half of the country literally worked full-time just scamming russians and other slavs.
Jayden Edwards
>Interesting how russians have almost no notion of empathy about their nation's actions destroying countless livelihoods of regular people in neighbouring countries. A lot of people are worried. But not me since I had some distant relatives there who had to leave or even one guy killed I'm sure. These are just expected outcomes and I'm rather surprised this shit didn't start sooner.
Levi Brown
it's a first person shooter and it's on consoles. obviously there will be a lot of cut backs due to this unless they are making two separate versions which is unlikely. Prepare for brain-dead AI and weapon wheels.
Owen Fisher
You forgot how they had in game NFT plans. They quickly backtracked after but it blatantly shows they have no idea what they're doing.
Camden Bennett
>expected outcomes Normal people don't expect their country to expand through conquest. In that regard, russians are mentally ill. The time of empires is long gone. Also, great job of being a soulless bugmen that doesn't even care about a death of a distant relative
Nolan Lee
>little known Get fucked, consoletard. Believe it or not, but at some point it used to be Half-Life 2 competitor.
Jayden Turner
>expand through conquest Stop pretending that ukraine is innocent. This whole situation literally couldn't have ended any other way. >doesn't even care about a death of a distant relative It was literally the second time I'd heard of him, was that really supposed to bother me?
