I think your best bet is to call CA's support (lmao) and see what they can do or find. But I don't see how that'd help anyone. I don't remember anyone being helped by a game companys support for a technical issue like that before. And I haven't worked in tech support since 2018 so my troubleshooting skills are a bit rusty
Your best bet might just be to refund it saying it genuienly doesn't work and try sometime in the future after some updates™
