I'm 23 and owe my entire social life to Twitter.

I moved to San Francisco two years ago, and after about 9 months in the city I still didn't really know anyone other than my coworkers. I signed up for Twitter and started using "Twitter Tracks," which is functionality which has since been disabled, but for a while you could set up key words and any twitter post with those key words would appear in a gtalk window.

I would leave the window open on my computer on Friday and Saturday nights tracking all these San Francisco-related key words. It was like a buzzing zeitgeist of what was happening in the city at any given time.

Anyway one guy was posting about stalking MC Hammer at the Metreon and I thought he was funny and started following him. He followed me back, and after a few @ replies back and forth he invited me to a website launch party, where I met him and many of his friends, all of whom were on Twitter.

I added all the people I met and they followed me back and soon we were chatting back and forth throughout the day... and I got invited to more tech events that way. Flash forward to now where my social circle has widened to probably 50 people from that one tweet, some of whom have become quite good friends.

Twitter only makes sense in a network. In isolation it looks like narcissism, but if you're in a circle of friends where people read and update it often, and everyone lives close to each other, it's like a virtual town hall that's always buzzing with conversation on current events, advice-giving, making plans for getting together after work, etc.

So while I see why people wouldn't "get" Twitter but it has made my life 100 percent more awesome than it was at this time last year.

Is she a writer or a "writer"?
Am I gonna see her work as a dialog between Kratos and some other important character, or is it just gonna be some NPC drivel I tune out?
Or is she writing supplementary material and I'm not even gonna see anything of it in the game?

she's a junior writer so probably lower tier stuff like item descriptions. Next game she'll probably be a co-writer or something since she knows people like Troy Baker.

yeah

she has writing credits but its mostly as an editor and journalist, not creative writing.
