What can they do for Persona 6 to keep the franchise feeling fresh?

UFO/UMA/Alien conspiracy culture. Making the Personas "Alien Beings" you can utilize and having the obligatory Mementos/Tartarus resemble crop circles, having the rivals be shady government adults that wind up being shadows or aliens themselves, the reveal that the aliens are just manifestations of some human psychological quirk amplified by some cosmic horror shit...
It feels like the only direction they haven't gone at this point.

Either that or it'll be set in fucking Edo Japan but treat its samurai academy exactly like modern high schools.

It's not even just that, but the summoning and card farming is worse than FFVIII.
But 2 is great with a speed up button.

Remove the calendar system and do something different for once instead of aping 3's mechanics without designing things to properly fit around it and complement it.
Persona hasn't been fresh in a decade.
