worst in which way? Mordin is the worst for trying to cure the genophage and dooming the galaxy after the reapers are taken care of. Kaiden is the most boring character of all time.

Grunt. He's just a kid krogan in an adults body and his story is basically "haha violence". His mission is good though and he has the best citadel skit. And he's still miles above any of the humans, you'd have a better thread if you had asked who is the best human companion.

Wrex, then Mordin.
Wrex himself is a cool dude but his goal is fucking abhorrent. Friendly reminder that the genophage doesn't actually make Krogan sterile, it makes them produce 1-10 kids per litter instead of literally a thousand. Krogan still live for hundreds of years yet even still they can't reproduce fast enough (despite still being able to do it faster than humans and for hundreds of years longer) because the fucking monsters keep killing each other. Wrex and Grunt are not typical Krogan - indeed most Krogan you meet are in the top 1% of Krogan intellect. Wrex and Grunt being in the top 0.001%. The overwhelming majority are no better than rabid dogs that know how to operate guns and vehicles.
Mordin is just as bad as Wrex because he wants to undo the Genophage in ME3 (for some reason).
Wrex and Mordin are both intelligent enough to know that undoing the genophage is basically guaranteeing the genocide of every other race in the galaxy (enslavement if they're lucky). The fact that they want to go ahead and do it anyway makes them absolute fucking scum.
Again: in order for the Krogan to grow their population faster than any other race in the galaxy, all they need to do is STOP MURDERING EACH OTHER
