i avoid this one because it's almost always some hentai game and they always suck

i don't

>indie
>survival
>open world
>crafting
The only exception I can think of to this at all is Subnautica. Other than that, 99.9% of all other titles with these 4 tags is SHIT.

>open world
>survival
i'll give almost anything a chance, but these two are instant "i will not play your game"

You can straight up filter them

What's wrong with twin-stick shooters? I've never played one that I know of.

they're not all awful, but I got sick of every other thing being a twin stick shooter when I was looking for shmups

>Find game
>Like the gameplay
>Like the artstyle
>It's on beta and every update dripfeeds a tiny amount of content, so if you play it you'll surely burn out by the time the game is complete in 3 or even more years and that's the best case scenario, because the game also has a good chance of becoming abandonware or get completely ruined by an update

the only genres that I automatically avoid are the openworld survival crafting games because 9/10 times they're always the same game with some kind of gimmick tacked on as an afterthought
roguelikes usually at least vary a bit in terms of mechanics
