Remember when we didn't need a launcher and an account to play singleplayer games we bought?
Remember when we didn't need a launcher and an account to play singleplayer games we bought?
nope
I like you
>moving to country
>will be without internet for a week at least
>decide to buy master chief collection because I never played halo 3 onwards
>sorry no internet detected, unable to sign in
It's shit like this that makes me wonder why I don't just pirate all my shit still goddamn 40 bucks on some single player games and I cant even (((log in)))?
fpbp, steal every singleplayer game
GoG
yeah, i've stopped paying for games. i'm tired of getting inconvenienced while supposedly doing the right thing and paypigging for stuff.
I remember buying PC games at Kmart as well.
Sadly GoG has like a minuscule share, I buy from there whenever I can, but I dont think they will survive another 5 years.
Remember when you had a single use key DRM for your game discs? Lmao PC cucks
>be pirate for at least 10 years
>always try to buy the game if it was actually a truly good game
>sekiro comes out
>pirate, it's fun
>buy it
>its unplayable because of denuvo
Denuvo is more of an inconvenience for buyers than pirates at this point, it's so stupid.
>move to country
>run into buying issues
>have to change countries
>ok, change country then
>no you can't change country by yourself you need to ask for support
>ok, contact support to change country
>country change went through
>another error
>umm ackshully your card needs to be issued in your new country
What the fuck is wrong with Microsoft
FPBP
Fucking this.
Never feel bad about piracy.
You're doing yourself justice by refusing to pay for this fucking pathetic industry's standards.
Remember when we had SecuROM limiting the number of times we could install a program we bought and owned on a physical disk?
your fault for subsidising valve and jewben all these years.
the more annoying thing is the (((steam))) workshop being a thing
When was this? We notoriously burned copies of games like battlezone, half life, quake 1 and 2, warcraft 3 for each other and passed them around with sharing the same cd key on all of them. Only when you went online was it an issue and even then, only some games
FPBP.
what's wrong with steam workshop?
Fpbp
Its existence. Locking mods behind store drm is fucking stupid.
>Locking mods
It's on the modder's head if they choose to not release it separately, standalone mods still work with Workshop games
YOU WILL BUY THE GAME JOHNNY, SEE YOU ON THE COURT
a console is a launcher, dummy.
sadly thats 95% of the modders. I don't even botther with modding or patching games nowadays because of stupid modders.
Nope. I've been paying an electricity bill since 1983.
