Room of turbo lesbian pot smoker in 2014

>she has an American flag over the window
The early 2010s were a different time to be a lesbo, maybe?

Yeah the obama administration tanked patriotism. People back then would just randomly chant usa usa usa. It was a different time.

foreign agents went out of their way to divide you

and turns out the immigrants had been seething all along so it worked. just a few troll bots online were so wildly successful you're on the brink of civil war. like it still blows my fucking mind how fast they turned on white people.

>they turned on white people.
>"bro whites are the most oppressed group"

none of you are oppressed you fucking simpleton
but please, do as chang and ivan desire and tear down your countrymen. I personally don't give a shit, as I am not american

I unironically thought the same thing when I saw your thumbnail and having not read what you posted.

yea, the eventsleading up to and the result of the 2016 election in america hyper fagalized all forms of media and entertainment terminally. PC garbage was kicked into overdrive and shit that was considered novelty went from shoehorn something different and some complain to in your fucking face standard. we may never recover

The flag is upside-down for a reason, Chud

jews has been in control of the USA since world war 1

9/11 was a helluva drug bro, the fact people woke up from it is the reason the country is so fucked

You have to remember who makes these games. They're made by people who are well off, financially, typically white, and management teams tend to be a little older than the employees under them.
So if you're gonna have a lesbian character, it makes sense that there's a bit of a dissonance between who lesbians actually are, and who writes them for a multimillion dollar game.
And LIS is set between 2010 and 2014, so it makes sense there's a bunch of 00s era references in the wallpapered magazine clips. Even though the parental advisory sticker hasn't been relevant in a long time and is now the most dated part.

And then you've got to factor in the culture war that was ramped up by the koch brothers and other billionaire neocon thinktanks. That was just starting when LIS was released. And remember that Any Forums hated the game back then because they were eating up the right wing psyop.
When other people say "America was really different then", I think they're on to something, but are misguided. The problem isn't that there's wokeness or that gay people exist, the problem is that a bunch of people got mad because of propaganda which was fed to them, to get them mad about something that doesn't effect them.

Wasnt the story about if her dad didnt die she'd be normal albeit disabled?

America was different then, all the anger of the middle class was directed at sand niggers instead of at each other. War for oil not for twitter likes.

>countrymen
Which ones? The foreigners or the communists?

If you think we're "on the brink of civil war" you took the propaganda bait also.

at max it would be like, 2k people each side having a skirmish in Kentucky with no federal or political party backing. Just a fucking shootout for a bit while everyone else watches and laughs

I'd pay good money for 2k people in Kentucky to shoot each other. Especially if they're all from Cincinnati,.

god fucking damn I hate Ohio and cincinnati

Anyone who doesn't hasn't hear of either of them.

Ohio civil war soon, friend. The differences between the Ohios is irreconcilable. We will wipe Cincinnati out and replace their spawn with true Ohioans. There's a reason former Yugoslavs keep up with Ohio news and developments. Things are going to get better.

Fags existing "effects"[sic] me directly, retard. Need proof? Go look at literally any videogame now. Open your fucking eyes, go read a milk carton or some shit.

The other day I decided to look at all forum posts on the day on and days immediately after the September 11 attacks.
one thing that stuck out to me is that on boards with set topics no one was talking about it, video game forums talked about video games, manga forums talked about manga, despite this event being on nearly everyone's minds those days no one forced the discussion where it didn't belong.
It seems like a huge contrast to how things are today.

Who even are the middle class? That's such a meaningless term. When you've got people making 100k+ with a three car garage, a 4 bdrm home, and enough savings to put kids through college in the same "class" as a couple struggling with SNAP programs and food banks, it doesn't mean anything.
And Americans were mad at the wrong people. The war for oil just killed our friends and family. The early 00s anti-war lefties were right all along. The US government is responsible for 911 happening, in that it armed and trained Bin Laden, who then used his network, his family's money, and his training to kill Americans. Because America deserved it for all the heinous shit it did and does.

So while the war machine was meandering around the world and genociding people, Americans were left to fight over the direction of culture instead of having a significant political project to undertake. Universal healthcare was struck down for "Obamacare", the Tea Party turned out to be an op from the elites instead of a libertarian movement to reduce tax burdens on Americans. Gay rights kinda came, and that's about it.
Oh but you could totally do representation in the culture. They'll exploit anyone in the culture industry.

And so the culture war was launched, to give the right wing something to bother the left about, to stop that nascent movement. Thankfully out of that moment we got socialists and bernie, people actually concerned about real politics.

And so we're getting more unions now, particularly in service sectors and fighting against the gig economy. Because apparently no one but the left is interested in fighting that anymore. Except sometimes you can count on working class right wingers to still show up to movements that benefit them, like unions. And community support.

It's a weird moment to be in, but hey, I'll take it. Especially while the fed is fighting tooth and nail to put WFH people and new tradesfolk and independent/small business owners back in service.

why are mutts so obsessed with politics?

It's a French game and their understanding of America is mostly through pop culture.

In the world of stereotypes all Americans have American flags, whether they're gay or smoke weed or not is irrelevant.
