Is it worth getting yet?

Unfortunately nope
It's still a buggy mess

i don't see why not. it's decent game and now it could be cheaper than 2 years ago

Always was.

only if you have an rtx card so you can use dlss and get 60+fps otherwise don't bother

The PC version barely got any improvements, the "next-gen" patch on consoles made it bearable.

It was always worth getting it despite being an absolute buggy mess. I'd argue you're best off with the SeX version, Microsoft must have drilled CDPR a second butthole because the game works almost flawlessly on that platform while on PC it's still a hit and miss.

Get it on xbox that’s about it. I still haven’t installed it but have sealed copy sitting there need to get to it, few friends have said it’s more than fine now to play through.

only if it's less than 5 dollars

Playing it now. It's OKAY, lots of wasted potential though. Everything feels very disjointed from story to NPCs to level design. Individually there are great setpieces and sequences but it just feels like whatever should've connected them together is missing. I assume that's all the content that was cut and polish that was omitted. Shame really could've been one of the bets immersive sims.
Very pretty if you have a high end PC however, good raytracing is actually kino.

tldr yes but its meh

always was

Wait for the DLC in 2024

It's okay so I guess get it on sale or pirate it. I beat it and it's not bad necessarily, but you can see where all the areas of the game they wanted to do much more with and either didn't or couldn't. I doubt we're getting any real extra content besides jackets and shit. It's been a long ass time since release and they haven't done a goddamn thing besides fix the plethora of bugs. It's relatively linear until the end. You have side gigs to do besides the main story. You shoot stuff. The RPG part is kinda bare, just the usual skill tree stuff. Follow one until you are unstoppable. It's looks pretty. Just a shame that it isn't as open or choice-heavy as they made it sound. It's just a story in a cyberpunk world. You get like 3 or 4 whole missions where your choices radically change the flow of the mission so don't expect tons of variety on replay. Your starting background barely matters as well.

Still an okay game with pretty graphics, but that's all really. Just not the epic immersive open cyberpunk world with incredible AI and little details that they led everyone to believe during development.

never was, never will be

Literally what's the image supposed to imply? The percentage of women employed by CDPR doesn't seem to have changed. Going by that trend it was probably around the same 25% figure during their witcher 3 development as well.

Why do you care? Like if you didn't had any other sandboxes to play with, you can find gta clones everywhere

I was so happy that people were experiencing so many bugs that they issued refunds with no questions asked. Not because i experienced bugs, i did but they werent game breaking and there werent many of them. The game was so fucking boring, so mediocre and generic, so mind-numbingly formulaic and soulless. Combat was braindead, world lifeless, characters were lifeless skyrim npcs, no skyrim npcs had character at least, cyberpunk had mannequins w no personality. The bugs were never the problem with cyberpunk. The game will never "be better" or "worth it now". Being broken implies there is something to fix, and there was never anything there.
