Gamefreak made a game with the Deltarune guy

>with the Deltarune guy
he wrote 1 song for it and it's the only remotely decent thing about the whole trash game

>Gamefreak made a game
>It's trash

Seems pretty normal to me

>Seems pretty normal to me
Their non-Pokemon track record is pretty solid though. Including Town Hero they've only really got 1.5 blunders.

Doesn’t matter. When has anyone given a fuck about anything gamefreak has made outside of Pokémon? The only thing that people think when they see these games is the thought of “huh, the Pokémon guys made this?” and that’s it.

Basically. Funny how ever few years or so Gamefreak make a non-pokemon game because they don't wanna be known as just the pokemon guys, only for the games to be dogshit and forgotten so quickly. Interesting how when they're tasked to make a game and not the pokemon brand everyone says it's shit rather than making excuses

because unlike Sonic Team or Cyberconnect2, Gamefreak can't even manage an okayish game on their own

it's unbelieavable how TPC still lets GF be the main Pokemon game dev when literally anyone else could have done better

TPC is a joint venture by GF and Nintendo and GF has a direct stake in the franchise. People acting like GF can just be "kicked out" are retarded

>Dokapon kingdom ripoff
>1-player

Absolutely retarded. Imagine releasing a 1-player Mario party or monopoly

It's about the same quality as a modern Pokemon game but this is what happens when it's not actually Pokemon.

They’re releasing games every year that sell over 10 million units; how exactly would you want that done better from TPC perspective?

OHNONONONONONONAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

its because nintendo, tpci AND gamefreak jointly own the company
if gamefreak were just some random studio like ilca, they would have already hired a different studio to develop the main games
we could already be getting high quality AAA games

>newbie bias

thats embarrassing

Do you think that GameFreak feels embarrassed that the guy they hire to repurpose his Homestuck MPreg shitposts into music for their games has a better hype machine for his releases than they do when daddy Nintendo isn't doing the heavy lifting?

Oh shit

user
NO.
DO NOT BRING IT BACK
Any Forums CANNOT AFFORD TO FIND OUT ABOUT THE BABY IS YOU AND HOMESTUCK-ERA TOBY IN GENERAL

Toby worked with Nintendo / Gamefreak long before he started making his own games.

How is that even possible? Couldn't they just shill their game with Pokemon crossover?

It was already known as a terrible Switch game. So either you never heard of it so it just blends in with thousands of other games on Steam, or you have heard of it and would already know it's shit.

not at all, considering they brought him back to work on music in SV too, and apparently this time his music isn't in an optional area like in the SS battle tower

It doesn't matter if the game is good or bad. They should be able to advertise it better.

wow even more reason to avoid the irredeemable series

Drill Dozer was a solid 9/10 with the only flaw being that it was too short, and it was a GBA game released in fuckin 2006

>They should be able to advertise it better
that's the thing, they never marketed it before

I don't see any fuckable creatures in that cover art, so it was doomed to fail.

They're too used to Nintendo doing that for them. They can't leave the nest. They go off on their own but they always have to come home to mommy and daddy and make Nintendo exclusive Pokemon games.
Nintendo even threw them a bone by featuring Little Town Hero in a Direct. Can only make a turd look so good. Pokemon games look like turds too but it's got the name behind it. Supported by a series that was impressive on a GameBoy as well as a trading card game, merchandise, and media GF had nothing to do with. They're the most carried company in the industry.
