1. homeless
2. Travel
3. Pooping gaming
4.back problems on chairs/asholes problems
5.you like to game on your tummy.
6. You live in Germany and electricity is 80¢ k/w
7.you don't play AAA
8.you go hunting/fishing/camping

Why would I buy a desktop PC if I could have one of these

you wouldn't
unless you're a complete retard

I never understood people who play games on the toilet. How long does it take you to shit? Are you always constipated or something?
When I'm shitting that shit is evacuated from my bowels within 1 minute, 3 tops. The rest of the time spent on the toilet is dedicated exclusively to wiping, which takes active effort. I'm not gonna just sit there with a shitty asshole and play vidya, or try to awkwardly multitask and play with one hand while wiping with the other.
What is the appeal? I just do not understand. Why not get it over with as quickly as possible so you can go sit somewhere with a bit more cushion than a fucking ceramic toilet seat?

You get better performance and HD graphics everytime unlike the steam deck with random game issues, lag, low FPS, low screen, battery issues, etc. The list goes on and the steam deck is forever a worthless junk that kids play.

only person who buys a steam deck are balding 30 year olds that use it to emulate super metroid while their wife's son hoards the PC to play apex.

Most of these arguments don't really apply to Steam Deck, its power consumption is not trivial and battery life not great.

I use a desktop PC for work, not gaming. Last thing I want after sitting at a desktop for 10 hours a day is to continue sitting at a desktop even more.

>its power consumption is not trivial
Are you actually retarded? Average gaming laptop consumes anywhere between 180-320W of power. Average gaming desktop easily consumes >500W. Steam Deck consumes around 15-20W in most modern games, and can be set to consume way less in anything not demanding.

You seethe

Can you take your PC on the train to work with you? Oh you don’t work? You sit in your parents basement all day? Ah I get it. Yeah a PC is perfect for your use case.

I find myself playing games on the portable at home while watching tv and other stuff. It might not add anything significant to my life at this age and stage, but I got money, love tech and this is a nice little piece. Your next complaint is gonna be the size I’m guessing, since you probably have little bitch hands.

When SHTF you can game on the move

Portability. I take it when I travel since I go on trips a lot.

I also play on the couch with my wife when she wants to watch shows. I don't want ot sit in my office all day.

t. Have a 5900x, 3080TI with everything, including VR. The Steam Deck is basically a much much much better Switch with more games.

>only person
Have any stats to back that up?

I wanted one to play porn games in the bathroom because I'm living with my sister and she doesn't leave me alone a single minute, but she found my porn in the computer we share and didn't care so I'll just use it and save the money for something else

He wants to waste some cash.

Travelling, couch gaming when away from desk, and its so well integrated to PC stuff you dont really miss being at your desk. Cloud saving makes it easy to swap too.

I dunno, its the perfect portable device.

So I can play complex doom in bed since playing on Android is ass

I bought/am buying one because I have lots of free time at my job.

I'm 30 years old
I'm not balding
I don't have a wife
Yes I use it to emulate Super Metroid but I also play my steam library (mostly JRPGs). I like to game while laying in bed it's comfy, much comfier than sitting at a chair.

I'm 25, not balding, don't have a wife and I use it to emulate GC games and play indie games in bed/on my sofa when I don't feel like sitting in front of my Desk.

Just becuse you are a socially stunted manchild that doesn't mean that everyone else here is

Steam Deck has a power supply rated at 140W

Hey child. Some adults have jobs that require us to sit at a desk for 40 hours a week or more.

Im fucking retarded and cant get the steam rom manager to work. The games never launch in steam OS mode. Feels bad.

Not so much for portability as some faggots claim. It's OK for around the house or in a hotel room when traveling but impractical for anything else. It is a passable mini PC with specs competitive for its price point. Why have a mini PC? For console style gaming. With emulators or older classics that are best played through a PC with mods.

these threads are traps by glowies for sexless incels.

I don't think you know what you're talking about and what you just wrote means, so stfu.

why would buy a portable device if you have a none portable device

>90 minutes battery life
