roundabouts are awesome but even here in europe we get lots of retards who don't know how to use them properly and get on the wrong lane, exit without proper signaling, cut through lanes and other bullshit

It's true but becoming less true as we are starting to put them in places though it doesn't help we have one of the most change resistant, retardedly proud populations there are. There was an area of my town that was a traffic nightmare during rush hour because it's one of the only ways out of the nearby city and has like three busy intersections in row that used to be handled by lights. It took years of fighting with people in the town to finally get them to replace the lights with roundabouts and over night the traffic was almost completely gone and weirdly the communist end of America that so many of the people in my town claimed roundabouts would bring didn't happen.

I've driven all over the states, and I've never once seen somebody fuck up a roundabout. Maybe it's just because that one has no markings for some reason.
