My experience with Footies was only that it was wildly imbalanced. Like some dude would random some specific overpowered hero, get Immolation item etc, and it was virtually impossible to stop him and throwing forces at him just gave him more gold.

I'd pay full price for a decent castle fight game. We still sometimes play old castle fight but it's become a bit stale after all these years. A fresh one with balance updates and more factions would be nice
