Is still the greatest vidya soundtrack of all time
Based halo 2 chad, but next time be more specific or else people might think you're referring to CE.
FFXIV has the greatest soundtrack of all time
Warcraft 3 was nice
Its decent, but only zoomers who started gaming with the Xbox think its THE best.
name a better final level song than Warthog Rub
i thought so
warthog run is also an equally amazing song
I would say it’s the best in the series
pic rel is close second
I wish the soundtracks had extended versions. Some of the bits from campaign that play for several minutes only make a brief appearance in the soundtrack.
not bad, but can you handle this?

It's that attention to detail of exactly what you should be felling at this moment that Halo captures so well. Halo has those moments where a 10 second piece can be specifically handcrafted for a vista or transition or unique scenario that will stick with you. You don't really get that in other games. I think Marty actually being in studio is a huge benefit to making music for a game. Instead of a composer being contracted and creating music samples for a level he doesn't see everyday, or have any input on, and then some level designer probably just picks where it belongs. Same thing with Kelly Bailey and Half Life. He wasn't just a music composer. He was in studio doing all the sound effects and programming.
In Amber Clad is the quintessential Halo track.
UOOOOHHHH UOOOOHHHHHHHUUUOHOHHHHHH
The saddest part about Halo CE is that zoom zooms will never understand how great the soundscape was because the remaster fucked all the triggers up.
