I've played a bit of Skullgirls before, years ago, but could never really get into it. I'd still consider myself a beginner when it comes to fighting games and Skullgirls seems to have quite a learning curve with that perspective in mind. Would you still recommend it?

Melty Blood has always seemed interesting mechanically but none of the characters ever really stood out for me especially since I have no familiarity whatsoever with the source material.

skullgirls may be intimidating to git gud at but i'll be damned if i dont have fun labbing shit out and landing my resets against actual people
if you never bought any of the DLC, you'll find a whole lot more content waiting for you since all the 2nd Encore content is now given to you as part of the base package
and it's 3 dollars. you'd be hard pressed to find a game that ISN'T worth that amount
