You should, they are quite literally the only good Visual Novels ever made

Oh that's what a Visual Novel is?

At least a third or half of the cases are garbage.

Do not listen to this man, he's a liar peddling utter deception

That's only true for Justice for All and Apollo Justice.

Rose tinted glasses. I replayed them all recently, at least the ones that are available in English, a good chunk are garbo.

I like Your Turn To Die

Shit taste problem tbqhwy

play the trilogy, play apollo justice (going with the idea that it's non-canon besides some elements), slog through investigations 1, enjoy the absolute KINO that is investigations 2, play great ace attorney and then stop there

I enjoyed 1 & 2 but for some reason I can never get past the 2nd case in 3. I don't dislike it, I just kind of stop playing

looking back on them, dual destinies and spirit of justice were really forgettable

i don't remember anything from either of them, while I remember the first 4, and both AAI games, and even the Layton crossover

what fucking happened

You got old

Nothing about AA2 is memorable

999/VLR
Hotel Dusk/Last Window
Somnium Files
Ghost Trick

i have, dropped it shortly after starting the 2nd game.
i came into this series expecting a decent detective/lawyer game with some humor, but it has so many asspulls and the cases themselves range from lame to just plain stupid.
i wish there was an actually good lawyer game.

I think SOJ is memorable for Ema being content, Maya genderswap, and Robert Downey Jr. hating on the dysfunctional magicians

Hotel Dusk is good as well

Play the originnal trilogy. Thats all you need.

danganronpa

>999/VLR
Those aren't good.

I wonder if AAI2 would have sucked if it were an official translation.
