Digimon is a fractured franchise without a proper identity.

you just made this thread, retard-kun

Did it flop? It's a low budget game, they didn't need to sell a gorillion copies and/or beat Pokemon for it to not flop.

Renamon or Gatomon?

Whoever loves me.

The raising mechanics are the identity, but 90% of the fanbase get filtered by it.

It's at most an average game.
My guess is that after the backlash at digifes they started rushing the Game.

Nah, they were going to release this year no matter what. Habu was already tired of Survive shit and wanted to switch full time into the development of the new Story game.
It was supposed a 2020 game that somehow got delayed two years after.

>The Three Archangels: Seraphimon, Ofanimon and Cherubimon. The highest ranked members. Seraphimon is the acting Chairman.
>Rasielmon: Has the same rank as the other three but works in a different department.

>ClavisAngemon and SlashAngemon: Basically the next-highest ranking personnel with special duties.

>HolyAngemon: Essentially the head supervisor and deals with public relations.
>Angewomon: A headhunter who tries to poach employees from rival companies.
>Bagramon: Former employee who got fed up with its job so it left to start its own business.
>Angemon: General manager of personnel. Most of the normal employees answer to it.
>Darcmon: Senior salaried employees
>Pidmon: Minimum wage employees

???:
>Raguelmon: Was in charge of contract terminations but its miserable personality caused it to go through a mental breakdown and is thus currently on sick leave.

How come the Royal Knights aren't this organized?

The Royal Knights were a "tea club" funded by Imperialdramon, who then got bored and BTFO from there, but first let Alphamon in charge. Alphamon also got bored and let Omegamon in charge, but only temporary, because he didn't dropped his membership, unlike Imperialdramon.
Omegamon is trying his best, but he really couldn't handle all the egos and faggotry of the rest of the members.

Imperialdramon had no personal part in the Royal Knights' creation. Its work was the basis but it never filed a patent, so Yggdrasil stole the idea and patented it itself. Alphamon isn't the leader of the organization. The Royal Knights are heavily decentralized. Omegamon isn't in charge either. Everyone just kinda does whatever they want.

Imperialdramon had no idea this organization existed before it passed away in the Ancient Digital World.

Digimon should really become a princess maker game but with digital monsters instead of princesses.
Right now it just plays like pokemon if instead of gameplay you got a shitty VN between each battle.
Cut down on the stupid bullshit clone characters no one cares about.
