>movie industry >companies are only making either small indie movies or marvel level budget films >there's no mid level movies being made that feels the gaps of good quality film or coming of age stuff
>video game industry >once again, it's either indie products or million dollar products. All the mid tier games once again are not present
Jesus christ was a sad fucking time it is for entertainment. No one is taking risks and all we are getting is shit. However at least in the movie/ tv business, tv shows are technically the alternative. So what will be the alternative for video games if we have a large gap of absent B/ AA games?
>it's either indie products or million dollar products That's not true. There's a lot of mid budget games.
Henry Fisher
All books are either big budget or indie. There's no inbetween.
Logan Diaz
Its not worth the risk Even AAA games can fail and a AA game requires nearly the same capital
Nicholas Hall
>There's a lot of mid budget games. We havent had mid budget games since what, PS2? Xbox 360/ PS3 was the end.
Chase Reed
>and a AA game requires nearly the same capital PS3 was a mistake. PS2 had the right budget.
Anthony Hill
Its just about wages If you want a polished game its going to take time The market is flooded
Jayden Russell
>can't create threads from multiple ISP ranges because a mod had a massive meltdown this morning. vidya butts has mind broken the mod
Daniel Adams
I fucking retarded or what?
Aiden Hill
The market isnt flooded. The market is hungry for mid level games. And if it's wages, then fucking cut the dev teams from 1000 down to 100 like they use to. Fucking hell, even Demon Souls was made with sub 100 people.
>The market is hungry for mid level games Cat game literally released a couple weeks ago and it's just first example which came to mind. There's a shit ton of games like this on steam.
