Where the fuck can WoW go at this point? Every expansion tries to top the last one in more and more absurd ways. Shadowlands had the WoW equivalent of Satan as the final boss, and he was apparently manipulating the whole setting since Warcraft III. Between this and countless retcons, WoW's lore is a joke at this point. Nobody takes it seriously anymore, not even the writers themselves.
And the whole gameplay aspect is even worse. The only people still playing WoW at this point are either whales or addicts.
