"Still Alive" was a stretch even with their first actual trailers of the Reworked game. I genuinely haven't cared after it was revealed it was a Prequel and fucks with Jade and Pey'j back stories. And Ancel isn't on it anymore, right? What's the point of caring when just like everything else on Ubisoft's roster they've dredged a corpse up and reanimated it as something completely different to maximize it's profitability?

The AAA industry is like one big incestuous family where there is no real gatekeeping or quality control among those who are already "in".
This is why even HUGE projects which massive amounts of money at stake get mismanaged by complete amateurs with zero experience or works to their name. Everybody with enough asslicking skills can weasel their way in via contacts.

Why is it that this industry attracts an insane amount of the types of people in OP’s post? The Catholic Church has taken flack like crazy for having a fraction of a single percent of their clergy that are pedophiles. People have and do continue to expect a higher standard from them. Meanwhile, entire game studios are filled with discord trannies, cry-wolf rape victims, and generally people that believe the most extreme ideas of the left. There are a greater concentration of deranged people at Ubisoft, CD Project Red, etc. than the general population by deviations of thousands.
