Uhh...Digitalsisters?
Uhh...Digitalsisters?
>15% of game's disks don't even work out of the box
Imagine being a physical cuck
I bought physical discs in the past for all the cool stuff that came with it, now it's just a disc, might as well pirate
there isn't a single form of optical media in my house. fuck discs
Property is personal sovereignty, pirated software is more "yours" than anything else because you have absolute control over it.
I miss thick ass game manuals filled with lore. I heard the Xwing one even got a mini-novel written inside
I need it explained what he's saying exactly.
What the fuck are the 500 database entries
>85%!
>....of our database of about 500 games
>no mention that their database has literally NINE computer games
>the rest is all fucking CONSOLE games where you're expected to be able to play the game on the disc after they shut down the XBL/eShop/PSN
Great dishonest statement and graph from people who hide the key details.
*day one patched in his way*
You wouldn't torrent a disk. Because that is physically impossible. Instead I pirate digital like a normal person. And that is why you don't physical. Also, personal anecdote:
>Find CD box of Return to Wolfenstein
>CD key on the CD itself
>Don't write it down
>Realize I fucked up half way through
>Google a pirated key because I can't be bothered to start over
>buy digital game
>crack game
>burn it to disc
Game discs have ALWAYS been nothing but licenses.
Games are data. They're information. They are not a physical thing and never have been. Only actual idiots think of a game disc as anything but a license and a storage medium.
well i haven't had any physical games that required internet (outside of pc games since i don't know 2004 or so).
i know there are few on consoles but it's pretty rare. form top of my head games like spyro remaster and tony hawk pro skater 5 require downloads. probably rushed the things out as fast as possible and didn't bother to include the full games
You got cucked by Gabe
>thinks the discs you buy are burned
kek
literally no difference
i thought this was gonna be a digimon thread
>Pirates game
>Copies it into a tape drive for safer long-term storage
>Along with the installer software for the latest OS that can run the game
>Stores tape drive into a giant lead-reinforced bunker along with thousands of other tape drives filled with all games known to man
>Decorates wall with giant images of my own visage
The radroache archeologists will thank me and immortalize my name and face
>collecting video game cases
>he doesn't also store hardware capable of running the software
You fucked up, user. Radroache Archeologists won't be able to do shit with your vault.
