I don't totally agree with that other user because I still enjoy most all of the pokemon games. However, replaying gen 1 recently did make me think GS is lazy now. At least that game had larger dungeon areas and puzzles. I get that not all of that is perfect (e.g. zubat battles) but it's better than Sw/Sh hallway walking. I wish they would try more on the newer games.

My younger brother gave me his cartridge earlier this year and I made it all the way up to the final boss but couldn’t beat her since my Pokémon were coincidently all weak to ground attacks. She’s like 15 levels higher than the previous bosses so I just fucking quit after grinding xp for a few hours and not even getting close.
