FEEL THE PAIN FROM THE JACKALS WRATH
DANCE IN FLAMES FOR THE FINAL QUEST
HEAR THE GHOST OF VIOLENCE
FEAR THE GOD OF DETRIMENT

All of the infinity engine games and pillars of eternity are pretty metal.

if we include games that are intentionally trying to evoke a metal aesthetic like brutal legend tries to, then it probably goes to that FPS rhythm game that was in nextfest. Hellsinger?

Yeah it was a pretty fun demo and the soundtrack kicks ass

I liked Brutal Legends, but felt like the game ended abruptly

this game kinda makes me sad because it's exactly the same idea as BPM:Bullets per Minute
even the UI looks the same. it doesn't have the amber/piss filter and the soundtrack is more metal but it is kinda sad that it already seems more popular than BPM which is genius (although kinda flawed)

Serious Sam.

Slain

>game about waiting for the slow-ass resources to fucking build so you can finally spawn some shit
>better off just slamming the AOE instakill every 30 seconds anyway
Brutal Legends' soundtrack was at least nice but god damn those battles were snorefests.
