There are no good Tomb Raider games.

Legend Trilogy suffers from all the shitty QTE etc. moments and trends games had at the time.
nu-Lara is just shittier Uncharted with generic open world and copypasted collectibles, i thought i would fucking die when i saw "TOMB RAIDED" on the screen when all did was enter a 10 meter deep cave and take some junk from a chest

Tomb Raider is a difficult franchize to act like a contrarian. The old games are all objectively terrible and nearly unplayable by modern standards and the new reboot games are simply much more enjoyable to play, even if they are mostly generic 3rd person action games with Uncharted platforming mechanics.
