Playstation Classics on PS5

Who would be onions enough to buy a subscription to play upscaled retro games when you could do for free with emulation for years?

nintendo fans lol

wait you need to buy a subscription to play old games?

>still no ps3 even though ps5 hardware could absolutely emulate it

This unironically, kek.

me sorry

no they're just playable with the subscription you can buy them individually

The selection is genuinely pathetic, Sony tried to copy MS and Nintendo and completely half assed the entire thing

/thread

Not all games are available to buy separately (Tekken, RE1)

Most if not all the PS2 ones were available as digital downloads already on the store. Usually under a tenner and constantly on sale anyway.

oh thats retarded

how do jak 2/3/x run on ps5?
they run like SHIT on base ps4

fpbp. nintendo fags are the most delusional

Does this mean retro games I bought on the PS3 back in 2010 will work on PS4 for free?

Snoybois, unironically enough.

>upscaled

lol

the same people that spend most of their money on MTXs

Gran Turismo 4 on PS4/PS5 would be great

No, PS3 games would only be playable through streaming since Sony went with that stupid cell processor bullshit on PS3 making PS3 games hard to emulate.

ps3 is too complicated for the devs to make an emulator themselves, and probably too unstable because of CELL technology and other retarded shit. The only way it might work if they get help from rpcs3 devs but i doubt they'd do it

The selection is shit. All the PS2 games are just games that were released in the store on PS4. And Ape Escape 2 is broken and fucking unplayable on PS5. They acknowledge this when you start the game, yet there's no fix yet.

I've played the original Ape Escape for the first time and must say it's the superior game. Better music and level design. AE2 was too kidified. Still a good game tho.

The Cell was an incredible piece of tech, but had no business being in a game console. No fucking body knew how to work with the damn thing.
