are you talking about Sonic Gather Battle? It didn't "infect" a computer but more of a shitty DRM he scrunches in so he can make the gameplay playable remotely, Adobe did the same shit with Flash as well. Not malware but act just like it because the author is an hard-coded autist.

The taiwanese faggot, Leemena Dan, has been a pest in the Little Fighter 2 in the 2000s, early 2010s and now gone, I don't think he'll be even be back since he's blacklisted for his persisting behavior on stuff he doesn't even own.

Also, i tried to be closely acquainted with Leemena only to be block in a bunch of corners. Not even his closest associate got any where near to whatever the fuck Leemena was working on other than shilling his fangame.
I even tried to get him into Sonic Battle hacking but he made this dumb excuse that he won't touch it unless there was documented method to significantly alter the gameplay and make custom story scenarios like with Smash (SGB had a Smash-like mode) and Little Fighter 2. Sonic Battle hacking didn't get a step up until like Mania got released months later, and it's still limited.

It fucking sucks that the game still hasn't been cracked and datamined as nobody wants to get near that game as the only assets that's been ripped from the game were pieced together screenshots i think

Unofficially, that is. Origins and Frontiers aren't much to celebrate. SEGA and Sonic Team just can't stop losing.

Still, I don't care where the good shit comes from, especially since some of the creators also work on their stuff in official capacity, like Spark and FP. There is also Project Rascal and some other 2D game about toons I forgot the name of.

There is also the new 3D game by the Taxman's team based on the Star Engine to look forward to.
