It did just say he disappeared though, not that he got old and died. You could say Dante ages faster because he's half human but that doesn't explain why it seems like Trish aged at the same rate.

Why do people act like the series was ever dead? Especially since Itsuno outright said after DMC4SE that he was experimenting with Lady so he could make a ranged focused character in the next DMC game.
