most every racing game is fine in terms of control and camera (even the pre-DualShock ones, they still support analog input with a neGcon or compatible wheel)
but also like, Crash 1/2/3 don't have any real camera problems (if mostly because of the extremely fixed camera) and control pretty well

alright I guess I went too far with the hyperbole, CTR, Crash games and the Wipeout games are good
still, I don't think most 3D games on the PS1 aged anywhere near as gracefully. it's a real shame that 2D was on the way out and 3D graphics were pushed so hard just because they could, but I guess it was a necessary growing pain for the industry and we wouldn't have had the 6th gen we did without it
certain games like Brave Fencer Musashi, Spyro, Soul Blade, they're essentially unplayable to me
