That's the thing, the overarching plot, backstory, lore, and world building all stem from the premise of "an edgy high school girl destroys the world because she's bored" and no amount of good writing can salvage that retarded premise. Plus, nobody plays these games for that; they play them for the murder mysteries and the characters (which are fairly good) so making an anime about the worst part of the games was a retarded idea from day 1.

All sonic had were bad ocs made by literal children and Chris-Chan (who was more of secondary who only liked the surface aspects) Danganronpa is infinitely worse in every regard
