Anyone excited for this deserves their life taken
Emulation has been a thing for 20+ years

This.

Why shell out for this when you could:
- Get an original cab
- Emulate for free and get a Joystick
- Play one of the numerous console ports

>Play one of the numerous console ports
do you mean the expensive but crappy ps2/xbox ports? or the superior but even more expensive dreamcast one? or possibly the 360/ps3 versions that had decent enough online but have been delisted for almost 10 years?

>Play one of the numerous console ports

All of them are out of print or delisted.

What if i want to stand up and play like an arcade experience you faggots.

You install retroarch, mame or a linux distro on your cabinet? Why the fuck would you pay whatever they are asking for a raspberry pi, a monitor screen, 2 sticks and plywood while also being limited to like 7 games? Seriously kill yourself shill

>on your cabinet
What if i dont have one? Who's to say i dont use this one to suit my tastes going forward?

>WIFIPLAY
tf is this shit

Then buy one for 1/4 the price of this shit? Are you retarded or just a woman?

get a standing desk and an arcade stick

If you have the floor space for this, you have the floor space for a nice viewlex

This is exclusively for people who are too stupid to pirate and too poor to buy a real arcade cabinet

In other words, the FGC.

I'm retarded, I didn't know you could do this as easy as you're making it sound.

Darn guess it will have to be the easy and free option then.

No wait spend a grand on an emulator cabinet that’s way smarter.

finally, this is the one i've been waiting for. i'd like to buy a full size cabinet one day, but this will be pretty cool until i feel like sitting down and working out a full size solution.

A terrible deal for $600.
For the same money there are numerous superior options.

>Full sized cabinet + Dreamcast
Since Mahvul is a 31khz game it is very friendly with a standard PC CRT monitor. Just buy an empty shell arcade cabinet, either a kit or a used cab, and install a PC CRT + Dreamcast. No soldering or electrical knowledge needed. Since it's a DC you get all the other games for the system as well like Super Turbo, CVS 1/2, KOF 98/2002, Garou. Easy to install a PS2 for even more options.

>Big size CRT + Arcade sticks + Dreamcast
There are a lot of ways to do this and it works better than a cabinet. You can even get a 480p video monitor if you look around.

>Low-lag LCD + Arcade Sticks + PC emulation.
The simple and rational route.

>my job puts one of their namco compilation cabinets in the break room at work
>constantly going back and forth getting top score in pacman and digdug with an unknown coworker
>there's a third guy catching up to us
These are actually pretty fun in wagie shitholes.

Just burn a copy of Marvel for dreamcast you fucking faggot.

This is the only legit use case scenario for these.

I love seeing people like you talk so confidently about something they know nothing about

Most people don't have access to or space for an actual arcade cabinet. They're a pain in the ass to move, require maintenance with parts that are difficult to find and the majority of them are in shit condition.

I like the cabinet + DC route. I'm going to look into it.

what if i just wanna order thing, unbox thing, and play game? what if i don't wanna spend my weekend setting up a DIY solution? 90% of the time the thing is just gonna be used for adding a touch of arcade ambience to a room anyway.
