Because there’s still a lot they could do with the series with Mario characters alone. Characters like Egadd or Diddy Kong aren’t in, so why turn it into a full on crossover? That’s not to say I’m against crossover characters, for example I’d be fine if they add Kirby to the next one, just keep it in moderation like they are in this one.

SNES Mario Circut 3 is SUPPOSED to intentionally look like the original SNES title, true, the graphics of the DLC pass is not as pretty as the base MK8 but it still looks decent enough and the selection of courses is good
