Tfw no desperate mommy gf who will make outrageous purchases just to get me into bed

Does steam deck count?

7 years ago when i built it
give even 1 non reddit reason to upgrade your pc
there has been 0 worthwhile games after i built it and all good games work fine maxed at 60fps minimum

February when I got a 3070 at MSRP

Upgrade....PC?

Bought a 1TB NVME a few months back for games.

Is now a good time? I want a 3070

A few months ago, I just need a new graphics card :'D

4 or 5 years ago. Even then it was way too much overkill. Graphics stagnated so hard there's 0 reason to upgrade.

literally a week before the dip

Built mine to last 10 years.

Two months ago when I replaced my GT 1030 with an RTX 3070.

But only the CPU

5 months ago, grabbed a 5600x it’s a great processor

whenever the fuck the 1070TI came out

Built it 4 years ago, only thing I've added is an SSD in that time

Last year, bought a m2 ssd

Replaced everything but GPU like 10 months ago. If my GTX 970 (almost 8 years now..) finally dies I'll have to fall back on integrated

>Nv*d**

Fuck off

SSD and 8gb ram 3 years ago. Otherwise my pc is right from 2010.

bought a 5600 from a 1600 and i fucking hate it
looking for a sale on a 5500 now

Why?

7 years ago I think.

Upgraded my 2012 PC earlier this year at the height of GPU prices. Upgraded GPU, CPU and RAM. Five months later, my motherboard literally caught on fire. Then I said fuck it and bought an entirely new PC. Just sold the GPU for less than half of what I paid.

Just give me the sauce

Not an 'upgrade' perse but I built my PC recently, so kind of? As before I wasn't really playing any PC games made in the past decade or so.

is she going to stick the graphics card in her fanny

I bought a second hand monitor a few months back for $20. A Samsung SyncMaster 2033. I think it's from like 2010 and it works great.
