Forgot the part where I pirate your game and you go bankrupt, L for indie devs

>thread for progress sharing, ideas, questions, and anything else related to video game development.
why dont you start by posting any? preferably video of your game
faggot

>you go bankrupt
But I didn't. Thousands of people let me use use their computers for mining crypto.

Question. How can I achieve things like swapping out body part meshes for armour pieces, limb amputation etc without actually splitting the mesh into parts like this? Having multiple skinned mesh renderers of different meshes are very costly performance-wise

So do i just download Unity, what do I do here?

dowload texture packs, get bored and go back to RPG maker

enjoy the process, not the product
otherwise this is just not for you, you don't HAVE to be able to make games, do something else instead

Uninstall Unity, run virus scanners, and run Windows system restore. Need to act quick to remove the spyware.

I'll be honest I'm not actually worried about the spyware, I don't have anything incriminating of my computer outside of porn of anorexic girls

spyware is just how it starts, once you allow shit like that on your machine you've already opened the door for anything, better get looking for it and often if you keep unity

Gamedev is fun until your renderer doesn't fucking draw anything. What am I supposed to use to debug this?

In that case, you'll have to know/learn C# and programming if you want to use that malware engine.

>What am I supposed to use to debug this?
A better engine.

That's what I'm trying to do.

(me)
Combining skinned mesh renderers is not easy

it's called you become a better programmer

I made a barebones extraction shooter on the weekend but I haven't started on a proper map. What kind of legal trouble can I face if import an existing map from elden ring or botw and show it off on a video? No plans to distribute the files etc just purely fucking around and educational purposes. I've looked around and haven't seen any youtube vids doing "botw map battle royale" so I'm kinda cautious as to why.

Some user wanted the toes to move whenever the foot is being licked and I thought that was a good idea
