Its pretty good, just played it through yesterday for the first time.
Made me laugh a few times and i shed some tears in the end.

It's not worse than Danganronpa. If anything, the character writing feels more genuine despite the anime bullshit. The worst of it is that the protagonist gets a Popeye spinach boost during action scenes by looking at porn magazines.

Sprinkled pretty heavily throughout, but the game is good about keeping it contained to mostly levity/stupid action bullshit, and putting it in the backseat when it's time for the more dramatic bits. And then right at the end they suckerpunch you with literally everyone doing an in-character/universe song and dance routine to the most generic sounding anime song possible. It nearly made me cry bitch tears.
