What franchises do you feel should have had a great video game adaptation by now? The ones with premises that should easily lend themselves to a game.

We'll see if this new game is any good. Some Polish and French development teams are working on it so I don't have high hopes. It also looks like they're trying to hide as much of the gameplay as they can in the trailers.

The World God Only Knows (popular manga and anime about dating sims) surprisingly wasn't turned into a dating sim, which is retarded considering 90% of the fanbase wasn't happy with the girl the main character ends up with and would have happily paid for a game featuring endings for all the other heroineá¹£.

Fucking Superman.
Come on. Don't give me that bullshit. You can do a good game based around him.

>thinking people want to play your shitty tranime shit

Snow Crash.
There's a neuromancer game, so make snow crash like a hack n'slash.
>CARLOS!!!!!!!!!

Like it or not, it would have made a lot of money in Japan.

just keep playing non-trans western products, cuck

That did have a game. It was janky but I bet a sequel could have refined it all.

It has an actual video game in the fucking story as a plot critical element.

You know remember that Reservoir Dogs has TWO video games.

YWNBAW

Obviously it has had great games so it's not strictly an example, but emphasis on "had". Why aren't we getting James Bond games anymore? You can do a big Bond movie, but as a video game, they did it twenty years ago, so why not now?

Good, and you will never be a man.

It always felt like the video game segment at the end went by way too quickly compared to how much time was put into the training arc - an odd pacing choice imo

>the whole point of manga is dating sims and MC playing them
>no dating sim based on it
Just what the hell?

Games these days are about the experience more.
A modern day bond game would just be like uncharted or tomb raider, but what would be the point in just playing a video game version of the movie?
Which has been the problem with near all bond games btw, but at least Goldeneye and Nightfire were fun.

the same studio did that shitty rambo game, but there was also that terminator game that was actually decent, so we'll see

Same reason people play Batman and Spider-Man games, it's fun to be the hero. Being James Bond and mowing down bad guys, escaping death traps and playing through action setpieces is a hook. Nightfire was what they should be doing now, an original Bond story following all the expected beats over a series of missions like Goldeneye did.
