The Longest Journey

I've heard nothing but good things about it, yet nobody ever seems to bring it up. It seems good from the screenshots I've seen. What exactly am I in for?

I've played Neverhood and the first part of Machinarium, so I think I can handle some of the weirder puzzles.

clichéd af especially nowadays. overrated then and a complete bore now

Thanks for the input zoomie.

the only weird puzzle is the island puzzle, Crow is the best.

crap same as dreamfall

>yet nobody ever seems to bring it up
It's an older game and adventure games aren't really brought up all that often on Any Forums.

I've tried it recently after reading a top PnC list. I fell asleep; not even great writing as the likes of grim to keep us going

One of the best point-and-click adventures, and it's unironically long - took me like 22 hours to beat which is a lot more than an average point-and-click adventure game.
Ignore Dreamfall, it's crap. Ignore Dreamfall Chapters even more, it's even worse.

why Any Forumsfags keep asking shit when they've already made their minds over said shit

Is Grim Fandango any good?

cuckold nordic dev that lets sandniggers fuck his girlfriend

Speaking of point and click adventure what was the name of that immortal cat lady game?

Dreamfall is not that bad if you pretend Zoe is April

it's heaven m8. worth it just for its writing and setting. it does have some obtuse puzzles here and there, but think within its world-logic all you'll figure them out all asap.

The Cat Lady?

For some reason I was looking at that and thinking it was Still Life. Got my titles mixed up.

still life was such a mixed bag but ultimatelly a kino experience. never played its sequel but I've heard it shit the bed

Nice slow atmosphere - makes you consider extraordinary in the ordinary. Slow pacing. Strange puzzles. Uneven content type - from childlish to vulgar.
One of those games worth playing overall for one to experience. Skip any Dreamfall games - primitive (Dreamfall) or extremely woke and lefty political (Dreamfall Chapters).

Surprisingly nice - funny and refreshing. The screenshots make one want to skip it but it is well worth playing. One of the better old games.

Kek No.

There's a couple cryptic puzzles but overall much better in that department than the lucasarts games

Still Life 2 is so bad you uninstall it 5 minutes in.
>sequel
It pretty much has no relevance to the story from Post Mortem/Still Life - all that is resolved in a side note or something like that.

Alright, since we're on the subject of older adventure games, what about pic related? Is it any good?
