Normal everyday locations, but you play as a miniguy so it feels epic and vast as fuck

Name a more kino level design trope, you literally can't.

Wonderland in Kingdom Hearts.

this is why I loved playing the "rats" maps in Counterstrike 1.6 and source
do they exist in GO? or is everyone so obsessed with ranked play that they only play official maps now?

The movie Antz was like the coolest shit ever to me as a kid because of this.

Upside down levels are also based and a fun way to reuse assets.

Why were the 00's full of 'toy' games?

This game has zero boring moments (except for the last level) and the soundtrack is full of bangers. Absolute kino ps1 platforming goodness.

Toy Story 1 and 2 were a cultural phenomenon like the Matrix.

Toy Story is definitely the reason why

Why was this game so hecking good?

Makes sense

This game was the first time I saw the trope of revisiting past levels with new abilities, which proves what a massive retard I was since I also owned Rayman 1.

What’s the name of this game? I saw it back in the day

this shit makes me hard, wish more games had this premise. that old xbox game Whacked! had a few stages with the premise

Definitely my favorite part of Grounded.

Moving train
Circus

Came out at a time when Mario 64 was still fresh in the minds of AA dev studios. Also realism wasn't yet achievable, and people know better than to try.
AA games nowadays are trash because they don't know where to find inspiration other than open world games, and their limitations are non-existent so they consistently bite more than they should.

Take a wild guess dumbass.

>male son sleeping with female infant daughter
VERY dangerous

Always had this lingering idea of an adventure/RPG game that takes place in a regular fantasy world except all the protagonists are minuscule fairy folks the size of a pebble. You’d travel through several biomes, each with different miniature people ala Minish Cap.
For example what would be a small pond for normal people would be a giant sea for the fairy folks, where pirate ships made of sticks and leaves would sail and get attacked by giant sea monsters, which would turn out to just be regular frogs and toads.

I know it’s a pretty cliché kind of setting but I’d kill someone for a game like that.

You're in luck

>Once again I need to educate these kids on the facts on life
Were great games too. I'm sure there were others before this Clockwork Knight but it definitely wasn't an original game idea created by fucking toy story.
