Real Vegeta died here. Complete pussy ever since. He could still fight for earth and still be a badass, talk in first person, be intimidating and not bow down, but fuck they butchered him bad.
*meant talk in third person
> they butchered him bad
They butchered the whole cast other than Goku. At least Vegeta has his moments. Gohan on the other hand....

Literally unironically the FPS series Doom. Enemy in question: Cyberdemon, who is the final boss of Doom (1993), and then becomes an uncommon but repeated enemy in subsequent titles (Doom II: Hell on Earth, Doom 64, Doom: Eternal).

Gohan had no character before Cell arc
He had. The Cell arc was its conclusion. Even then my favorite Gohan was the early Bu saga. Having him as protagonist, a young guy who tries to council his normal life while battling world ending threat would have been far better that mary sue Goku
DB Xenoverse 2
This was actually a case of it being done well, as Frieza had been built up as THE biggest threat not just in the arc but in Dragon Ball as a whole on top of being Vegeta's groomer. Unfortunately the series continued and Vegeta cemented his role as the Prince of All Jobbers.
Never knew there was a dub worse than Funimation's.
