it's such a fucking shame, guild wars 2 always had to be the best mmo on the market, yet for some reason, either laziness or lack of passion, the devs always refused to do the simple and easy things to push gw2 to it's biggest potential. pvp for example has been left in the dust for god know how long

It is a shame. As much as I agree that GW1 is the superior game overall, 2 does have its strong points that let it outshine the majority MMOs on the market.
If you could combine the best aspects of both with just a dash of EQ you'd have the greatest multiplayer game of all time.

This. People wish the worst for this game for lesbian content and shit writing, but the factoids state that it was one of the most fresh experience since wow. Mounts happend long after the boom for the game, but they are the proof that devs can risk and try new stuff instead of copy-paste shit.

I agree. Seeing people catapult across the land with mounts in ond zones feels wrong since they were designed for walking and new zones of course have to be larger to accommodate mounts. It's also dumb to me that the dragon mount seems like utility creep and replaced byother mounts in many instances like the gryphon.
