What's your favorite game that never got released or developed properly?
Mine is KOTOR 3.
>"The entire second game is littered with clues as to 'why didn't Revan destroy the infrastructure here? What was he trying to make sure was still intact? What did he/she see that no one else saw?' I thought that was giving a nice nod to 'wait a minute, Revan realises there's an even larger force at work here, and he's focusing his efforts on that and keeping the big picture in mind'. That was one thing - the idea that there was a larger, global conspiracy."
>That third game would cast you as "the Exile" and allow you to track Revan's path. "Whether you encounter him or not..." he pauses, wary of spoilers in case the game ever happens in the future. "The idea was that even before the 'modern day' Sith came into being in The Old Republic ... there were even more distant Sith Lords that were considered the true Sith, and the idea that they were still lurking out there in the galaxy waiting for a chance to strike, kind of like the Shadows in Babylon 5, I thought would be a cool finale for that Old Republic trilogy.
>"Part of the fun with designing them," he adds, "was if you have these incredibly powerful Force users and they have their whole hidden domain out in the distant reaches of the galaxy, what would that Sith empire really look like at the hands of these things?
>"If they could shape entire planets or galaxies or nebulas, and they had all these slave races at their disposal, how cool would that be, to go into the heart of darkness and you're the lone Jedi and/or new version of the Sith confronting these guys? What would that be like? I thought that would be pretty epic."
KOTOR 2 was basically 1 long trailer for a third game that never happened. Although I didn't know they were planning to make you play as the Exile. I had assumed you'd be Revan again.
But to answer your question; Battlefront 3.
Benjamin Cruz
>looks so fucking cool >all that cool fucking talk >all his plans >the ending of the expansion So fucking retarded. They could have done so much more with him.
Blake Martinez
I remember reading about a possible Baldur's Gate 3 plot, basically the Bhallspawn ascension will be denied by Mask(God of Thieves) and he will travel planes, meeting gods and demigods, hunting a god etc. Could have been cool.
Grayson Brown
I remember the Black Hound plot, but nothing about it is similar to what you wrote. Do you remember where you read about this?
Wyatt White
>battlefront 3 >kotor 3 everyone was expecting masterpieces with these 2 games, but they didn't happen in the end
Gavin Barnes
the worst thing is that they (at least bf3) almost happened. it wasn't cancelled early, it just got fucked.
and to answer OP, Imperial Commando
Nicholas James
Dungeon Keeper 3.
Samuel Rogers
>Imperial Commando Do you honestly think that anyone would be able to create a game about playing as an Empire soldier without having them defect?
Hudson Nguyen
Nah, I don't know a single person who wanted kotor 3 after fanfic shitshow that was kotor2
Adrian Harris

For over a thousand generations, LucasArts were the guardians of good vidya in the Old EU. Before the EA times, before the Mouse.
Well, technically TIE Fighter did bypass the issue of "we are the bad guys" by only having us fight the Rebellion just a little bit. The rest were the other bad guys.
Logan Jackson
There are plenty of other entries where you can chose to play as the bad guy, like KotOR, Force Unleashed, Jedi Academy, and Battlefront 2's solo campaign
Jack Cox
Megaman ZX 3
Luis Lopez
Prey 2
Justin Garcia
Silent Hills
Matthew Johnson
the problem is that you can't make the PC a chessmaster character in a Bioware-style RPG because they have zero agency beyond the order of doing things. they have to be a plaything of fate for the most part and K2 hyped up revan as the chessgod
